Thanks to Lincolnshire’s historic links with the RAF and a long history in engineering and manufacturing the defence sector has been identified in the emerging Lincolnshire Industrial Strategy as a major opportunity for economic growth.

Dom had this to say about his appointment “I am immensely proud to have been invited to join the newly formed Defence and Security Advisory Board for the Greater Lincolnshire LEP. The mandate we have is crucial to support the continued success of the region and hopes to further the historic ties between Defence and industry within Lincolnshire. I am excited for the challenge and looking forward to working collaboratively with some of the most innovative minds within the industry”

Dom joined EEI as the Director of Operations in 2018, bringing experience gained from his 11 years of Royal Air Force Service. He has over 2000 operational flying hours on the MQ-9 Reaper Remotely Piloted Air System. As one of only two MQ-9 Qualified Weapons Instructors available in industry he brings in-depth expertise in Beyond Visual Line Of Sight Unmanned Air System operations specialising in planning, executing and leading within the tactical, operational and strategic domains.
