SORA Support Service

SORA Support Large Drone Flying

We offer a comprehensive SORA Support Service by partnering with our clients and providing them with SORA Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) that advise and assist with the preparation, compilation, and submittal of a UK SORA application. This service includes expert insight on how to structure Concept of Operations (ConOps) to ensure a solid starting foundation is achieved for clients wanting to exploit uncrewed systems within UK airspace.

The 14-step SORA workflow is then broken down into manageable segments, ensuring each step is clearly understood. Focused advice provides assurance that the UK SORA Phase 1 workflow calculations are completed corectly arriving at teh appropriate final Safety Assurance and Integrity Level (SAIL) determination. This positions the application for a successful Phase 2 process where support and advice is provided on Operational Safety Objectives (OSO’s) compliance and activity to generate enabling events such as Hazard Identification and Functional Hazard Analysis (FHA).

Our SMEs take pride in a professional, personal service, working hand in hand with the applicant organisation to support them through the intricacies of the SORA workflow in the CAA Application Portal. Finally, our SME’s advise on how to handle interaction with the CAA and respond to Oversight responses during CAA review. This comprehensive support package, optimises application workflow, enhances the chance of success and reduces wasted effort and cost.

Our Mastering UK SORA for Drone Operations course is also available, where our SMEs will deliver a step-by-step workflow through the 14 step UK SORA submission process.
