Eagle Eye Innovations partners with Capytech UK to deliver the next generation of Drone Training

Eagle Eye Innovations is proud to announce a strategic partnership with Capytech UK, marking a significant step forward in the delivery of professional drone training. The collaboration brings together our combined operational expertise and advanced digital technology to develop a powerful Learning Management System (LMS), designed to support the next generation of remote pilots and training delivery.

Increased Demand for Online Learning

As the drone industry continues to evolve, the demand for accessible, high-quality, and compliant training solutions is increasing rapidly. Through this partnership, Eagle Eye Innovations and Capytech UK are investing in a future-ready platform that enhances how training is accessed, delivered, and managed. By combining Capytech’s expertise in developing scalable digital platforms with Eagle Eye Innovations’ deep understanding of drone training, operations and regulatory requirements, the resulting LMS is both technically robust and highly relevant to real-world applications.

The platform will support the delivery of key Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Qualifications, initially including the A2 Certificate of Competency (A2 CofC), Remote Pilot Certificate Level 1 (RPC-L1), Mastering UK SORA (Specific Operations Risk Assessment) Drone Training and when it goes live, the Remote Pilot Certificate Level 2 (RPC-L2). The LMS also enables Eagle Eye Innovations to create and deliver module based learning and micro-credentials, supporting ongoing continuous professional development for drone pilots around the globe. These training courses are essential for individuals and organisations looking to operate drones safely, legally, and commercially within UK airspace, and form a critical part of professional development within the sector.

Designed with user experience in mind, the LMS will offer a flexible and engaging learning environment. Learners will benefit from on-demand access to course materials, interactive modules that improve engagement and knowledge retention, prior to arriving for practical, instructor-led learning.  The LMS will also include integrated assessments that allow them to track progress effectively. The system is also built to scale, supporting both individual learners and enterprise clients who require efficient training management across teams.

Driving Standards for the Drone Sector

At its core, the partnership is focused on raising standards across the drone industry. With the regulatory framework continuing to develop, access to structured, high-quality training is essential for ensuring safe and compliant operations. The LMS has been designed in alignment with CAA guidelines, helping learners gain the practical knowledge and confidence required to operate professionally.

Drone technology is now widely adopted across industries such as construction, surveying, utilities and infrastructure, film and TV and the emergency services. By making training more accessible and scalable, Eagle Eye Innovations and Capytech UK aim to support the continued growth of these sectors. This initiative not only benefits individual operators but also enables businesses to upskill their workforce, maintain compliance, and unlock new commercial opportunities.

Together, Eagle Eye Innovations and Capytech UK are setting a new benchmark for how drone training is delivered in a modern, digital-first environment.
