EEI Supports UK Armed Forces Week 2021
This week is Armed Forces Week in the UK and as a veteran owned and operated company, Eagle Eye Innovations Ltd are proud advocates of Defence through our support of veterans, reservists, spouses and local units.
Our support to the Armed Forces, Families and Veterans is deep in our DNA. We were awarded the Armed Forces Employer Recognition Scheme Silver award in 2018 and we proudly display our Silver Award recognition on the landing page of this website.
We currently employ 21 veterans, predominantly from the RAF but also former Royal Navy, Army Air Corp and Royal Australian Air Force. Moreover, we have 6 Reservists, and we are proactive in our recruitment of veterans, fully supporting those who wish to continue to support Defence through Reserve service. Over the last two years our reservists have supported Reaper training with XIII Sqn RAF and 616 Squadron RAuxAF based at RAF Waddington. We also support the RN reserve at RAF Shawbury.
Through our Reservists we have become frequent supporters of the RAF and our support of 616 and XIII Squadrons continues to grow. In 2020 as our support deepened, we livestreamed the annual RAF Waddington fireworks display. Recognising that the event was under Covid-19 restrictions, we broadcast the display through Facebook to the wider RAF Waddington family, helping to connect those on operations with their families.
We are proud to support Armed Forces Week and Reserves Day 2021 and want to say thank you to our Armed Forces community for the vital work they do.
