EEI Welcomes Alex Monro as Head of Defence & Security
Alex has joined EEI following a highly varied and successful 20-year RAF career as a WSO (Navigator), which saw him complete tours on both the Tornado F3 and GR4 (to include two tours of HERRICK and operating as a StormShadow SME for ELLAMY). Following the Tornado’s retirement, he completed a tour in the Air Warfare School, Cranwell, as the Offensive Weapons Specialist before transitioning to the UK Reaper Force in 2016. Here he achieved Reaper QWI status and supported all facets of the platform. More recently, Alex has been heavily involved with all aspects of the nascent UK Protector programme within ISTAR Force HQ, although he was primarily focused on developing the training plan and building the organisational structure of the Protector Force as it nears its introduction next year.
