Kate Dodd

Kate Dodd

In 2001 after completing the Association of Accounting Technicians qualification at the local college, Kate started work as a trainee in accounts and tax for a large local accountancy practice, before studying in Nottingham in 2003 to become a Chartered Accountant, completing training in 2005 and following with a promotion to manager. Kate then spent the next 14 years managing a team and assisting small businesses with their accountancy and tax needs.

In 2019, she took the huge step of starting her own accountancy and bookkeeping business, becoming self employed and joining Eagle Eye Innovations alongside managing her growing business in mid 2019.

Since being with Eagle Eye Innovations, Kate has seen the company grow and change hugely, and has aided in all the financial aspects that have been monumentally important in all aspects of this growth.

In addition to assisting with running the financial side of the business, she also sits on the board of directors as Company Secretary, and assists in important decision making processes.

In her spare time, she thoroughly enjoys her voluntary position as Treasurer for her local Scout group as she feels it’s great to be part of something that gives young people such important opportunities and life skills. She also enjoys visits to the gym and loves weekends away in their motorhome with her family and her dog Liza.
