Our team of Safety Management Systems experts will support you through the creation and ratification of your mandated Operations Manual, ensuring it is ready for submission to the CAA.
This is an ideal addition to one of our drone training courses, or as a standalone session with our experts to support you through the Operations Manual creation process.
Our Crew Resource Management (CRM) course aims to improve your understanding of the human factors that can affect your ability to operate drones safely and effectively. As drone flying complexity continues to evolve, knowing how to operate as part of a flight crew has never been more important.
This is a 1-day course lasting 6 hours and is an ideal addition to any of our drone training courses.
Want to brush up on your practical skills before an examination? Or want to extend your practical training further with face-to-face tuition from our expert drone training instructors?
Our ½ Day Flying Bolt On is perfect for just that. This will provide you with 4 batteries worth of instructed flying, which is at least 1 hour of flying.
This bolt on is a great addition to our Zeta Fast Track course and our A2 CofC courses.
The categories of operations are known as A1, A2, and A3. They are classified as:
The basic CAA code will tell you everything you need to pass the test for a flyer ID, which allows you to fly in Open A1 and A3 categories.
The Specific category covers operations that present a greater risk than that of the Open category, or where one or more elements of the operation fall outside the boundaries of the Open category. You must pass the online test and hold a Flyer-ID, and register as a UAS operator, and display your Operator ID on your UAS.
The A2 CofC and GVC training is provided by our experienced EEI Academy instructors. We are recognised by the CAA and their courses are designed to expand your theoretical knowledge to ensure you operate safely and appropriately.
We have training venues and flight sites in Lincoln, Swindon, Lockerbie and Kinross with options to conduct the A2 CofC online.
If there are enough students on our courses, our training can also be brought to a bespoke location near you.
Both Tim and & Ian were super knowledgable and very keen to make the training role specific for our individual departments. Really enjoyed it, keep up the good work. Avon and Somerset Police
The course was very good, one to one remote access worked very well. Online A2 CofC Student
Excellent course. Tim was able to deliver all content in a way that made it easy to understand and more importantly, remember. The theory input provided a great starting point and ensured a seamless transition to the practical art of aviating the drones. The aspiration of earning “Gold Wings” is a fun incentive to work hard. Well done EEI Leicester Police
Overall, it was the best formal course I've undertaken in over 30 years in the military. Thank you. Zeta Central Student
Excellent course, professionally delivered and time management was excellent also. No time wasted, nothing rushed. Zeta Central Student
Ian (Gally) did an amazing job teaching our group! He made the course fun and had lots of time and patience. Learned a lot and feel confident flying. Thank you so much. Can’t recommend Eagle Eye Innovations highly enough. Zeta Closed Student

You need to have an RPC-L1 Aeroplane qualification to begin this course, as this will build upon the fundamentals of fixed wing flying to convert you to type on our impressive DeltaQuad Evo RPAS. What’s more, you will also learn how to use the exceptional Auterion Mission Planner, which is the brains of the operation when using DeltaQuad. This is a VLOS course only, although we have the ability to further expand on this into the BVLOS environment, provided the correct regulatory approvals are established. Experience this cutting-edge VTOL RPAS now and let us show you how it can further benefit your operations.
Our new 1-day Observers course is designed to expand your RPAS crewing capabilities and de-risk more complex operations through the provision of professionally qualified RPAS safety observers. Utilising proven aviation standards and procedures, our professional and
experienced instructors will guide you through the fundamentals of Crew Resource Management, crew communications, RPAS control and coordination and give you the practical experience you need to maximise the benefits of your RPAS for VLOS operations and beyond.
If you hold a valid GVC and want to convert to an RPC-L1 qualification in the same category of UAS, under the CAA you are exempt from conducting the theory elements of the course and may progress directly to the practical elements. Therefore, you simply need to book
onto either our conversion course or the practical days of a full RPC-L1 course (provided there is capacity to fit you in). This will provide you with the minimum of 2-hours flight instruction before you attempt the flight assessment. Proof of GVC validity will be required prior to conducting the training.
This course is designed to qualify you in either Rotorcraft or Aeroplane, noting that you only need to conduct the practical aspects of the course, provided you have successfully passed the full Level 1 course in the other discipline.
(Please note this does not include conversion onto our DeltaQuad platform; that is a bespoke course in its own right).
