Formed in 2014 Eagle Eye Innovations are a unique company based on their expertise in the world of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS). No other company in the United Kingdom has the credentials, the qualifications and the experience in this specialist niche area of aviation.
tHE sHORT
EEI’s experts are predominantly from a MQ-9 Reaper background, having collectively amassed in excess of over 10,000 hours, covering all aspects of MQ-9 operations and training. Their instructors and operators have operated in some of the most challenging and dangerous environments on the planet. They pride themselves in having the most highly qualified Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) operators in the industry as well as the most experienced operators in the field of sub 25kg RPAS.
THE LONG
Formed over seven years ago, EEI’s founder, Sion Roberts, saw the unique advantages of RPAS technology and what the benefits could bring to all industries and users. Having spent 6 years in the USA operating and instructing on the most sophisticated and advanced platforms, Sion came up with the concept of creating a team of the highest trained professionals that could deliver this vision and help organisations get the most out of this new technology. This team of experts could use these unique skill sets to help train various industries and services to operate this new technology to the highest possible standard.
From its inception in 2014, EEI has grown to become the only RPAS training and consultancy company in the UK that caters for all types of RPAS.
We have more than 60 years of combined experience of unmanned aviation within the EEI Team. We are passionate about the benefits of unmanned aviation and excited for the potential of RPAS technology now, and in the future.
EEI is not just made up of Pilots, our skillsets are far wider with Sensor Operators, Mission Intelligence Coordinators (MICs) as well as all the support staff that make up the world class team and ensure they deliver on what they promise.
